Sara Syverhus is an emerging artist from Minnesota. Born in 1984, she spent most of her childhood in Northern Minnesota. She moved to Minneapolis after graduating from Bemdiji State University in 2007 with a BFA.

       Her work is infused with movement, she aims to create dynamic imagery full of emotion using overlapping shapes and color in conjunction with dramatically posed figures and creatures.
